Investor Opportunities
Following the successful completion of their first building in a Multi-Unit Development, the Developers of SouthRidge are pleased to announce an attractive new investment opportunity under the Nova Scotia Equity Tax Credit ETC) program.
This program allows everyday Nova Scotians to own shares in the company, receive a substantial tax credit and as you will see by the information provided below, a very attractive rate of return on their investment.
As many people know, Real Estate has always been a traditional safe haven for investors. The uncertainty in the financial markets and the continued increase in the number of retirees (Boomers) seeking a lifestyle change makes SouthRidge a compelling opportunity.
By investing up to $50,000, the tax equity program allows the contributor to take advantage of a 35% (up to $17,500) non-refundable tax credit in 2012 that may be carried forward for seven years or back three years. The program also pays a yearly dividend in years 2 through 5 yielding a minimum total return at the end of five years of $30,000 (12% annually).
A contribution to the tax equity program can be made with cash or it may be financed. If you choose to finance, we can assist you with the process through your personal bank.
